Jorge Muñoz Castro is a Peruvian chef with a solid international background, forged at the CETT in Barcelona and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. He was a key member of the Pakta team (1 Michelin star), where he developed a technical style with a strong identity.
After 19 years abroad, he returned to Peru to lead Astrid & Gastón at the invitation of Gastón Acurio.
In 2019, he was recognized as Best Chef of the Year at the Luces Awards. Today, he forges his own path with projects such as La Verdadera and Oqre, where he combines Peruvian technique and roots with a contemporary and emotional vision of cuisine.
